The Work
Eight questions, the last set. What you write is read by your facilitator and nobody else. Not your officer, not your school, not your family, and not in any report. Two of these you do not write down at all.
Week 23 of 23 · Your Testimony and What Comes Next
What is one thing you can see now that you could not see in week one? One is enough.
What is honestly true about somebody six months after finishing this?
- A Their life is fixed.
- B Still poor, still fighting, still one decision from losing it, and also has tools, a person, and something on paper.
- C They never struggle again.
- D Nothing changed at all.
Where you came from. Plain. What was around, who was there, what was normal to you before you knew it was not normal.
What it cost. Specific. Not bad choices. What happened, who it landed on, what you lost.
What turned, and where you are right now. Present tense, like a man in the middle of something, because you are.
Four things for week twenty four. Who picks up. Where you will be every week. What has a date on it. What you do every morning. Fill in all four, and write the ones you do not have yet.
The man from the tombs asked to leave with Jesus and got told no. Why?
- A He was not ready.
- B His assignment was the same town that had given up on him, and all he needed was a before and an after.
- C There was no room in the boat.
- D Jesus did not trust him yet.
Nobody reads this one. The blind man could not answer their questions and just said I was blind and now I see. What is the one thing you know for sure that nobody can argue with you about?
