Eight questions. What you write is read by your facilitator and nobody else. Not your officer, not your school, not your family, and not in any report. Two of these you do not write down at all.
Week 2 of 23 · Unforgiveness and Grace
When was the last time somebody gave you something with no string attached? If the answer is never, write that, and write what that taught you about taking things from people.
What does grace actually mean?
- A What you did was not that serious.
- B God decided to overlook it.
- C It mattered so much it had to be paid, you could not pay it, and Somebody covered it.
- D You get a clean start once you prove you changed.
Nobody reads this one. What have you decided is too far for God?
Romans 5:8 says while we were still sinners. Why does that one word change everything?
- A It means hurry up and get right.
- B He moved before you cleaned up, so nothing you do now earns it or loses it.
- C It only applies to certain people.
- D It is just how the sentence was written.
You cannot be owed, you have to be seen, you cannot pay it back. Which one is hardest for you and why?
Peter folded in front of a servant girl at a fire, not in front of soldiers. Why does that detail matter?
- A It shows he was never really solid.
- B It shows how small the pressure has to be before somebody folds, and he still got restored.
- C It means the story is exaggerated.
- D It shows he was scared of women.
Jesus asked Peter one question three times and gave him something to do every time. If God gave you something back to carry right now, what do you think it would be?
Nobody reads this one. Everybody in your life met a version of you and part of you waits for the day they find out the rest. He knew all of it before He chose you. What is the thing you think would change His mind?
