Eight questions. What you write is read by your facilitator and nobody else. Not your officer, not your school, not your family, and not in any report. Three of these you do not write down at all.
Week 14 of 23 · Making It Right
Nobody reads this one. Who is still carrying something you did?
The last time you said sorry. Were you sorry for what you did, or for what it cost you? Write how the two feel different.
What does turning around actually mean?
- A Feeling bad about the direction you were going.
- B Turning your body and walking the other way, even when nothing is in it for you.
- C Saying sorry to everybody on the list.
- D Serving your time.
Pick one thing you did. Write all three: who it landed on, who else caught it, what it did to you.
Two lists. What could actually be paid back, with a number or an action next to each. And what cannot be paid at all.
Nobody reads this one. What is stopping you on the first list? Money, pride, or having to look somebody in the face?
Jesus came to Zacchaeus’s house before he paid anybody back. What does the order teach?
- A You have to fix things before God will come near you.
- B Grace came first, and then the safe opened. If nothing ever leaves your pocket, nothing happened in your heart.
- C Paying back is optional.
- D He only did it because people were watching.
Nobody reads this one. God said leave your gift and go make it right first. What are you carrying to church that you have not gone back for?
